COMMUNITY LIVING PROGRAM
Hudson Street Apartments
Just a short walk from Paxton Street Home, Hudson Street Apartments offer independence with minimal support for seven residents living with mental health challenges. As part of our Community Living program, these one- and two-bedroom apartments provide a supportive, close-knit environment where residents manage their own care. Staff check in periodically to offer guidance and assistance, fostering both autonomy and a strong sense of community.
Who Lives at Hudson Street Apartments?
Hudson Street Apartments provide affordable housing for adults (22 and older) with a mental health diagnosis who can manage their own medications and health needs while maintaining a high level of independence. With limited staff support, program participants live autonomously while sharing responsibility for the care and upkeep of common areas. Residents must participate in meaningful weekly activities, such as employment, volunteering, or other community engagement.
Services Offered
Each resident is provided a comfortable space to call his or her own in either a shared or single-occupancy apartment. Indoor and outdoor communal areas can be enjoyed by all residents of the apartments.
